Whether you're a competitive athlete, a weekend warrior, a desk worker, looking for stress management, or someone who is trying to maintain their health and prevent injury, it is my goal to take care of you, so you can live well, feel well and BE WELL.
After completing my schooling at Western University and triOS College, I started my practice as an RMT in Squamish, British Columbia in 2022 - the adventure capital of Canada!
During my years of practicing, I have treated a variety of clients ranging from competitive sports athletes (mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, running, hockey etc) remote workers and weekend warriors. I learned first hand from my clients how important it is to take care of your body and to have a pain free life so you can participate in the activities that make you feel alive. This fuelled my passion for educating and empowering my clients while helping them return to their active lifestyles. I am dedicated to bringing physical balance and the joy of movement to my clients.
Whether you are recovering from a new or old injury, struggling with chronic pain, postural imbalances, pregnancy pain, stress, anxiety, depression or seeking maintenance and “fine tuning” treatment, I will help you reach your goals!
I have a broad skillset including:
~ deep tissue techniques,
~ trigger point release,
~ active stretching,
~ myofascial release,
~ ligamentous articular strain techniques for the hip and pelvis,
~ relaxation techniques to bring the body and the nervous system back to a stable state (Swedish Massage technique).
I strongly believes in the importance of mind-body connection, and therefore incorporates a deliberate relaxation components to my treatments.
"Follow the tension and listen to the body" is my style.
My goal for my treatment style is to have it be unique to each individual and each injury present. I use a combination of slow soothing strokes with deep intentional pressure, which allows me to carefully assess and incorporate an aspect of relaxation. Incorporating relaxation into treatment is a key component to rehabilitation and healing.
